PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

The Public Participation Plan (click for copy of Plan) will be sensitive to and in compliance with the MPO’s public participation plan guidelines, federal requirements per SAFETEA-LU, Title VI and Environmental Justice provisions. During each phase of the study, we will work closely with the MPO to conduct creative and innovative outreach, engagement and information sharing efforts, including:

• 6 MPO Transportation Technical Committee meetings
• 3 workshops
• 5 focus group meetings
• 1 briefing brochure and general overview presentation
• A project web site
• 3 mail and e-mail newsletters that will include the workshop announcements (Renaissance to develop material and the MPO will distribute)
• 4 key stakeholder interviews
